Sisu is a unique Finnish concept. It is a Finnish term that can be roughly translated into English as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. Sisu is not momentary courage, but the ability to sustain that courage. We aim to evoke this within our community.

FAQ'S

Do you provide towel hire?

We ask that you bring your own towel, however you may purchase one from behind the desk if you forget yours.

Do I need to bring anything?

Please bring a towel and your drink bottle.

What is the minimum age?

15 years is the minimum age we allow to use the facilities. Simply because any younger than this, children are not able to regulate their temperature.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

You can not cancel your booking within 2 hours of the booking time. We are very strict with this.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recovery haven! Not being able to jump straight into the full program, I was a little worried I'd be in the way. Absolutely not treated that way at all. The staff are knowledgeable and suggest  options depending where you are at in your health journey. Traditional or infrared sauna, different temperatures for cold exposure or a magnesium bath option means you can heal your body where you are at. Oh, and my sleep has improved out of sight.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My hubby and I love going to Sisu. We lived in Japan and South Korea for 15years and absolutely love our Saunas and Ice baths. We've been to a lot of the local Saunas in the Northern Rivers and have enjoyed them however, it's hard to find one with a really hot Sauna and an Icy cold ice bath. Sisu definitely has both and a beautiful magnesium bath. We love that we can have a membership and go a few times a week. It's always clean and well cared for and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. We really appreciate having the venu in Ballina which is close to home for us. Thanks Sisu
